Pocket Scrapping Layouts

This is OUR everyday life! I have been doing everyday documentation since 2010. First in monthly or P365 format and then actual pocket style since 2012.

My first two years used a combination of physical cards and elements, photos and then more and more digital elements all printed out and put into plastic protector sheets. But I was having a hard time with matching backs and fronts with orientation from week to week AND I was finding that I was using more digital than physical elements. SO for 2014, I've made a change.

2014 is all digital. If there are bits of ephemera, like for example college acceptance letters, those go in as insert pages. I also include insert pages for all the pretty journal cards, wood veneers, ribbons, buttons, flairs, etc that I do STILL collect even though I'm primarily a digital scrapper. You just can't take that love of paper and flowers away!

While I think I will still always be compelled to do more traditional digital layouts, the pocket scrapping format lends itself so well to so many things. They are perfect for events and holidays, birthdays and vacations, really any time you have multiple photographs and stories to go with them. I think it's my new favorite way to scrapbook!
